MGF

Low cost Pre-treatment system for Ion exchangers & Membrane systems such as RO etc.

Mixed bed consists of strong acid Cation (SAC) exchange resin and strong base Anion (SBA) exchange resin.

OZONATOR

Ozone also oxidises the iron, manganese, and sulfur in the water to form insoluble metal oxides.

Our RO systems are engineered as per the client's technical specifications and in accordance to the standards & requirements of the particular industry it will serve.
R.O. Membranes reject wide spectrum of impurities including Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), bacteria and viruses down to 0.0001 micron.
Usually a RO is preceded by Micron Filter & Other filters like Multi Graded Sand Filter, Activated Carbon Filter etc., depending upon the feed quality.
Works on the principle of Reverse osmosis which is a membrane filtration process
The spontaneous & unidirectional flow of solvent molecules from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated solution through a semipermeable membrane is known as osmosis.
The pressure exerted by the solution which just prevents the passage of solvent into the solution through a semipermeable membrane is called osmotic pressure of the solution.
In reverse osmosis, an applied pressure is used to overcome osmotic pressure thereby forcing the water molecules to pass through the membrane & retaining the larger molecules.

Mixed bed Demineralizer consists of strong acid Cation (SAC) exchange resin and strong base Anion (SBA) exchange resin in the same column.
2 Bed Demineralizer consists of strong acid Cation (SAC) exchange resin and strong base Anion (SBA) exchange resin in 2 seperate column.
When it comes to high-purity Demineralized Water, mixed bed demineralizer is considered more efficient.
Cation resin has a negative functional group and therefore attracts positively charged ions.
Anion resin has a positive functional group and therefore attracts negatively charged ions.
Cation resin is regenerated with HCl. Hydrogen is positively charged and therefore attaches itself to the negatively charged cation resin bead.
Anion resin is regenerated with NaOH. Hydroxyl is negatively charged and therefore attaches itself to the positively charged anion resin bead.

Operations

Water enters the mixed bed Positively charged cations flow across cation resin beads, the cations are exchanged for hydrogen (H+) which do not have a strong attraction to thecationresinbead Negatively charged anions flow across anion resin beads, the anions are exchanged for hydroxyl (OH-) which do not have a strong attraction to the anion resinbead Cation resin is regenerated with Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) Anion resin is regenerated withsodium hydroxide (NaOH).
